原產地於中國大陸北部、中部及東南部等大部分地區，生長在台灣全境山麓低至中海拔之山谷或山坡林蔭下潮濕處自生。不僅可做中藥材之一，近年常被作為庭園造景的綠化植物。
Creeping Liriope is native in many places in northern, central and southeastern China. They grow in the mountain from low to medium altitude all over the Taiwan, live in the valley or under the trees on the hillside.
